Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide an ink jet recording sheet having high smoothness and excellent in paper passing properties and blocking resistance. CONSTITUTION:In an ink jet recording sheet, polyolefin resin coated paper or a polyester film with center line average roughness of 0.4mum or less is used as a support and a back coating layer containing 5-100mg/m of a spherical fine granular polymer with an average particle size of 5-15mum and having thickness less than the average particle size of the spherical fine granular polymer is provided on the support.
