Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To achieve delivery in accurate registering to a turning drum from an impression cylinder acting as the storage drum of a printing press on this side of a sheet feed direction in the case of the turning of a sheet. CONSTITUTION: When a sheet gripped at its front edge by the gripper 8 of an impression cylinder 3 is delivered to a turning drum 5, the sheet is gripped at its rear edge by the gripper 9 of the turning drum 5. A suction port 10 is arranged to the turning drum 5 to suck the sheet 5 carried on the impression cylinder so as to allow the portion near to the rear edge thereof to strike against the turning drum 5 and the gripper 9 of the turning drum 5 gripping the sheet 6 at the rear edge thereof is closed to uniformly lay the sheet on the periphery of the impression cylinder 3 in a diagonal and peripheral directions before the gripper 8 of the impression cylinder holding the sheet 6 at the front edge thereof is opened.
