PURPOSE:To shorten the total operating time and effectively utilize heat by feeding the water equivalent to the cold-water purge from a hot-water feeder at the time of water feed in the water-using process prior to the process receiv ing hot water from the hot-water feeder. CONSTITUTION:Two water rinsing processes are performed after the washing process, the next process is the hot-water rinsing process by the hot water fed from a hot-water feeder, and it concurrently serves as the cold water purge P when hot water is fed from the hot-water feeder. The value subtracted with the time required for the cold-water purge P from the time required for hot-water feed is set in a timer T3 in this washing process, a water feed valve is opened for water feed during the period counted by the timer T3. Then the water feed switch is closed and a hot-water feed valve is opened, and hot water is fed from the hot-water feeder until the water level is attained where a normal water level detecting pressure switch is turned on. The time t1 required for the cold-water purge P is dispensed with, and the total operating time can be shortened.
