GETTER DEVICE FOR ELECTRONIC TUBE

PURPOSE:To provide a getter device for an electronic tube of high quality having high temperature oxidation resistance without causing a trouble such as explosively sputtering and floating a getter material in the case of use. CONSTITUTION:In a getter device for an electronic tube, the inside of a metal- made getter vessel is charged with mixed powder, containing at least Ba-Al alloy powder and Ni-Al alloy powder, as a getter material. In place of Ni powder, by mainly using the Ni-Al alloy powder, producing NiO is suppressed at high temperature heating time in the atmosphere, and explosively sputtering Ba at getter flash time can be prevented.
