POLYGONAL CYLINDER-LIKE FLEXIBLE CONTAINER AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE:To facilitate production, by simplifying the production of polygonal cylinder-like flexible containers, thereby mechanizing it. CONSTITUTION:A main sheet 2 is provided with rectangular entrance and exit sheets 7 and 8, respectively, one at each end, on a virtual line 5 passing through almost the middle of the main sheet 2 in the direction of its width. A cylindrical intermediate item is made by firmly fixing together assembly sheets 9, each consisting of three types of sheets 2, 7 and 8. A shape-maintaining body 11 is provided in the cylindrical intermediate item, and the middle part of each main sheet 2 of the cylindrical intermediate item in the direction of its width and each part of the shape-maintaining body 11 facing the corresponding middle part are firmly fixed together. When the assembly sheet 9 and the shape- maintaining body 11 are folded so that the virtual lines 5 of the assembly sheets 9 are close to each other, the external edges 12 of adjacent assembly sheets 9 face each other, and the facing external edges 12 are firmly fixed together.
