Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To improve operability by constituting a device so that a slide-shift knob does not hinder the operation of a switch, etc., provided on an instrument panel, and the operational force of an operator can effectively apply to the slide-shift knob. CONSTITUTION:This device has a slide-shift knob 1, a slide switch 2, and a driving part. The slide-shift knob 1 is provided on the side of a driver's seat, and an operation direction is in a straight line and is set in an angle of depression toward the front of a vehicle. The slide switch 2 outputs an operation signal in accordance with the operation of the slide-shift knob 1. The driving part receives an operation signal from the slide switch 2 to generate shift driving force in accordance with the operation position of the slide-shift knob 1 to perform the shift change of a transmission.
