MAT FOR HEALTH

PURPOSE:To provide a mat for health, by which recovery from fatigue and purification of interior environment can be accomplished by providing many hollow chambers in the interior of a tatami-like (straw mat-like) mat, and packing granular natural stones containing minerals and wood chips containing tropolone group components in the chambers. CONSTITUTION:The interior of an outer frame 2 having a bottom plate is divided by partition bars 3 to provide many hollow chambers 4, and granular natural ores 6 containing mineraliged mainly composed of graphite silica, which naturally emit far infrared rays in an ordinary temperature range and wood chips 12 of a white cedar, a hiba orboritae and the like containing tropolone group components such as hinokitiol, beta-dolabrin having an antibacterial characteristic and germicidal characteristic are packed in the chambers. Subsequently, the upper surface of the packed body is covered with a fabric material or the like, and a surface material 7 formed by weaving rush is superposed on the fabric material to form a tatami-like mat 5 by fitting edges 14. The tatami-like mat 5 is placed on a floor, or installed on the seat of a chair, whereby circulation of blood can be improved and cells are activated to accomplish recovery from fatigue and get rid of stress, and growth of bacteria can be checked, and sterilization and divergence of aroma are performed so as to purify the interior environment. Thus, it is possible to easily obtain a mat for health.
