Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a compsn. which is excellent in printability and gives a laminate with a high adhesive strength regardless of the surface roughness of a paper substrate laminated while facilitating the laminating process, the laminating process using the compsn., and a laminate produced thereby. CONSTITUTION:This compsn. mainly comprises a pigment, a binder resin, water, and a water-miscible solvent provided the resin contains at least 40wt.% (solid base) aq. dispersion of an ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer obtd. from 60-90wt.% ethylene, 10-30wt.% acrylic acid, and 0-30wt.% other copolymerizable vinyl compds. and having a melt index of 100=2,000g/10min. The compsn. is printed onto a paper substrate, the printed side of which is laminated with a molten polymer to give a laminate. Thus, the laminating process is facilitated.
