ASSEMBLY METHOD FOR DOOR WINDOW GLASS FOR AUTOMOBILE

PURPOSE:To eliminate regulation of erection and to improve the efficiency of a door window glass assembly process by a method wherein a door glass is mounted on a door for positioning, a window regulator is mounted and a moving part is moved toward a door glass, and a glass holder is engaged with a door glass. CONSTITUTION:A door window glass 5 is inserted in the glass groove of the upper edge of a door body 2. A window regulator 4 is inserted through the work hole 2a of an inner panel in the door body 2 in a state that a pair of glass holders 7 are attached to a moving part 4f. The base frame 4c of the window regulator 4 is locked through a mounting hole 4g in a home position in the door body 2 by means of a screw. The door window glass 5 is then lifted and positioned in a fastening position making contact with a sash 3, the moving part 4f of the window regulator 4 is moved, and a pair of the glass holders 7 are engaged with the lower edge of the door window glass 5. A door 1 is conveyed to a main line where outfitting for a car body is carried out. An adhesive is cured during conveyance, and the glass holder 7 is fixed to the door window glass 5.
