FAULT INFORMATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To speedily and exactly inform a generated fault even to a maintenance personal not resident at a prescribed position by calling a specified portable radio receiving means by transmitting a signal showing the fault generation when the fault is generated inside an exchange. CONSTITUTION:When any fault is generated inside an exchange 100 a fault information means 101 transmits the signal showing the fault generation. When the signal showing the fault generation is transmitted from the means 101, a fault call means 102 calls a specified portable radio receiving means 300 through a radio call means 200. In this case, the means 101 informs the class of the generated fault to the means 102, the means 102 transmits the class of the generated fault reported from the means 101 in the case of radio calling and further, the specified means 300 displays the received generated fault class in the case of radio call. On the other hand, the means 101 and 102 are installed inside a main control part for controlling the entire operation of the exchange 100 and it is considered that the means 300 is called through the exchange 100 and the means 200.
