INFRARED DETECTOR

PURPOSE:To prevent a field of view from being lost owing to interstices among a plurality of infrared detectors and hereby ensure one sheet of a picture image with single scanning by providing the infrared detectors that are mounted on vertical surfaces between protrusions of a substrate and on vertical surfaces on the protrusions and that include readout parts protruding perpendicularly. CONSTITUTION:A infrared detector 21 is mounted on a vertical surface 11a located between protrusions 12, and an infrared detector 22 is mounted on vertical surfaces 12a of the protrusions 12. Flat plane hook shaped readout parts 21a, 22a are protruded perpendicularly on the upper portions of the infrared detectors 21, 22. The readout part 21a is protruded perpendicularly from the upper end of a vertical surface of the infrared detector 21, and the readout part 22a is protruded from a thick part of the upper portion of the infrared detector 22. With such construction, the infrared detectors 21 and 22 are disposed without forming any interstice.
