Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a cutting-out system for electric wire which can securely cope with the conditions required for cutting-out in the handling work of electric wiring materials, in a distribution work. CONSTITUTION:Electric wires C drawn out of an electric wire drum D on a drum base 2 are treated by a wire winding-off and cutting device 1 to obtain a wire with a specified length. The wire winding-off and cutting device is provided with a recorder recording the present length of wire held on the electric wire drum D. When the present length of wire held on the drum D which is recorded by the recorder gets shorter than a specified one, it stops automatically. As a result, this system prevents the electric wire drum from being pulled out together with the wire.
