Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To circulatively-convey plural multi-spindle heads along a circular conveying route, and locate and fix an arbitrary multi-spindle head into a processing position promptly and with high accuracy. CONSTITUTION:This machine tool is provided with a clamping mechanism 20 for locating and fixing an arbitrary multi-spindle head 16, out of plural multi-spindle heads 16 which are circulatively-conveyed along a circular conveying route, into a processing position. The clamping mechanism 20 is provided with a cylinder part 74 for advancing and retracting movable rails 42a, 42b toward the inside of the circular conveying route, a temporary positioning pin for temporarily positioning the multi-spindle head 16, a tapering means 78 for aligning and locating the multi-spindle head 16 against a column 12, and a stud member pulling means 80 for securing the multi-spindle head 16 onto the column 12.
