HOUSING STRUCTURE OF ELECTRONIC APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of the kinds of ECUs and the cost of the ECU without the deterioration of the shielding quality of the ECU, by making the plural kinds of the housings of the ECUs or the partial kinds thereof each kind of which is prepared conventionally every kind of the connector of the ECU usable in common to the ECUs regardless of the kind of the connector. CONSTITUTION:The housing of an ECU comprises a bin section 2 for storing printed boards 1 in a fastening way and a flat cover 3 for covering the opening section of the bin section 2. In the bin section 2, a connector opening section 22 is provided. The number of the poles of a connector 13 is changed according to the circuit scale of the printed board 1, and concurrently, the longitudinal size of the connector 13 is changed too. Therefore, when the kinds of the bin sections 2 are limited to the only one kind wherein the longitudinal size of the connector opening section 22 is made maximum, a gap 16 is generated in the connector opening section 22. For the avoidance of this defect, a bent section 34a extended from a bent section 34b of the flat cover 3 is so provided as to cover the gap 16. Thereby, the number of the kinds of the ECUs and the cost of the ECU can be reduced, without the deterioration of the shielding quality of the ECU.
