MULTI-PROCESSING METHOD

PURPOSE:To save the development man-hour of a program and to reduce the number of steps by converting addresses outputted by micro processing units in memory controllers by using identifiers. CONSTITUTION:By providing registers 7aa, 7ab, 7ba and 7bb inside input/output (IO) devices 4a and 4b in one-to-one correspondence with processing units 8a and 8b and independently assigning the addresses of a bus 5, the different addresses are assigned to the registers inside the IO devices 4a and 4b. Then, at the time of accessing the registers 7 inside the IO devices 4a and 4b from the micro processing units 1a and 1b, in the memory controllers 2a and 2b, the addresses outputted by the micro processing units 1a and 1b are converted to the addresses of the registers 7 corresponding to the processing units 8a and 8b inside the IO devices 4a and 4b by using the identifiers.
