SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE

PURPOSE:To easily provide a timing control circuit which controls the timing set between a microcomputer and a peripheral LSI by making the acknowledge output timing changeable by the external designation. CONSTITUTION:The acknowledge output timing is changed by the flip-flop circuits (FF1-FF3). The acknowledge A means a signal that is transmitted from an acknowledge generating part, and the acknowledge B means a signal obtained by delaying the acknowledge A by an FF1. Then the acknowledge C means a signal obtained by delaying the acknowledge B by an FF2, and the acknowledge D means a signal obtained by delaying the acknowledge C by an FF3. Such acknowledge A-D are supplied to a selector which selects one of these acknowledge and outputs it as the acknowledge SA. Then the mode A and B terminals are set so that the optimum acknowledge SA timing is selected out of the acknowledges A-D and transmitted based on the timing specifications of a host microcomputer.
