Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To generate a model for a simulator semiautomatically by debugging a model generated by a model generating means which places a model for a defined plant in an operation state. CONSTITUTION:An operator who generates a program generates a model diagram on a drawing by using a graphic function (S301). Then equipment specifications of a valve, a flowmeter, etc., are defined (S302). Model expressions of pressure, a flow rate, etc., are defined (S303). Then control information on the ID number of a source model, a comment on the source model, etc., is defined (S304). When a copy is taken (S305), a copying process is performed (S306). When another model is defined (S307), the processes S301-S306 are repeated. After the source model is defined (S201), the model is generated (S202) and debugged (S203). Thus, when a model for a large-scale plant simulator is generated, the operations are divided and the man-hours can greatly be decreased.
