RADIATION TYPE COOLING DEVICE HAVING ICE HEAT ACCUMULATING TANK

PURPOSE:To permit the realization of comfortable cooling through radiation, which is capable of securing a sufficient cooling capacity and eliminating the generation of danger of leakage of water around a ceiling as well as the generation of condensate, without complicating the structure of the ceiling. CONSTITUTION:A radiation body 12 is provided on the ceiling surface of an objective cooling room 10 while a space 18 for cooling is formed behind the radiation body 12. Cold air, sent out of an outlet port 22 through a supply duct 64, is agitated and mixed by a mixing mechanism 80 utilizing the indoor air of the objective cooling room 10 and cools the radiation body 12, then, is discharged to an indoor side through another outlet port 14. The cold air, discharged into the space 18 for cooling through the supply duct 64, is produced utilizing cooling water, cooled by passing it through an ice heat accumulating tank 24. On the other hand, the mixing mechanism 80 includes an intake port, an opening and closing unit and a ventilating fan while the intake port is opened only during the operation of the mechanism 80.
