OPERATING DEVICE FOR ELEVATOR WITH COOLING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To exert cooling in a car according to operating purposes and save energy by providing a cooling device in the car of an elevator, and starting or stopping the cooling device according to the detected result of the elevator operating direction. CONSTITUTION:A car operating device 4 performs the lifting operation or the lowering operation in response to the destination floor button of an operation panel 3 in a car and the landing call and gives a start command to a cooling device 2. The car control device 4 gives a stop command to the cooling device 2 when it detects the lifting operation and gives a drive command when it detects the lowering operation, for example. When the car control device 4 confirms the lifting operation toward a rooftop beer garden or the registration of the destination floor button for the rooftop floor, for example, it stops the cooling device 2. It again starts the cooling device 2 when the car reaches the rooftop floor to reduce the uncomfortableness given to users caused by the temperature difference between the outdoor and the indoor.
