Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To suppress deformation of a car body at side collision time by providing a structure formed of an air conditioning case of box sectional shape mounted mutually between right/left front pillars of an automobile and a metal- made member fitted further fixed to this case. CONSTITUTION:This instrument panel structure is constituted by combining a resin-made air conditioning case 13 with a press molded steel plate-made member 111. The air conditioning case 13 is formed by combination of an air conditioning case upper 13-1 and lower 13-2, and a differential duct 13-4 and a ventilating duct are formed by combining the upper 13-1 with the lower 13-2. By a partitioning plate built in the ventilating duct, a storage part for a blower and an evaporator is formed. The member 14, holding a front surface part fitted of the air conditioning case 13, is formed in almost U-shaped section, integrally connected to the air conditioning case 13, and fixedly mounted in a car width by both side partitioning plates 14-1.
