THREAD CORRECTING DIE

PURPOSE:To precisely and surely correct a thread in a die used for correcting a burr and a deformation in the thread on a cutting part end face of a continuous-thread rod cut by a continuous-thread cutter. CONSTITUTION:A guide cylinder 4 provided with a guide hole having a diameter approximately equal to the outside diameter of a continuous-thread rod 6 to be corrected is arranged on the side face of a die main body 1, in which an effective diameter of a screw hole is enlarged in comparison with a basic dimension by the range of 0-0.1mm, and the center of the guide hole and the center of the screw hole 2 of the die main body 1 are coincident with each other, while the length of the guide cylinder 4 is set to be several times as long as its hole diameter so that the continuous-thread rod 6 and the shaft center of the die main body 1 are easily matched with each other. A grip 3, whose size and width are easily gripped by a hand is arranged on the outer circumference of the die main body 1.
