Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To float up, separate and remove inclusion in molten steel by constituting the immersion part of a ladle nozzle of a bottom, a peripheral surface and an opening part for discharge formed at the lower end of the peripheral surface and forming the opening part so as to be upward toward the outside from the inside at the discharging angle within a specific range. CONSTITUTION:The opening part 8d of the ladle nozzle 8 is formed so as to be upward toward the outside from the inside at 5-60 deg. discharging angle. Since the molten steel 2 poured into a tundish 4 flows downward after flowing out upward from the opening part 8d, and processed to an immersion nozzle 5, the molten steel is not formed as short-circuit stream. The flowing passage is made long in comparison with the conventional straight nozzle and the staying time (molten steel holding time in the tundish) is made long. Further, at the time of lowering the molten steel surface, the inclusion does not descend but stays at the upper part, thereby accelerating the floating up and separation of the inclusion having small sp. gr. By this method, the installation of a weir, etc., is unnecessitated to reduce the quantity of the stuck metal and improve the yield of the molten steel, and the tundish can be reused in hot state. |
