Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To improve workability, to prevent a wire from being cut, and to obtain a drawn wire with a good quality. CONSTITUTION:Prescribed wire drawing schedules such as the operation speeds, the optimum acceleration rations, the optimum slowdown rations of a wire drawing machine 6 and a final wire take-off capstan 5 which are separately driven, are inputted. The wire drawing machine 6 and the final wire take-off capstan 5 are allowed to start a prescribed time interval, and accelerated to a prescribed speed according to the optimum acceleration ratio to subject the wire 1 to wire drawing. Thereafter the wire drawing machine 6 and the final wire take-off capstan 5 are decelerated according to the optimum slowdown ratio, and allowed to stop at a prescribed time interval.
