Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To enhance the creeping insulation strength of a light guide and to sharply reduce the height of a thyristor valve by a method wherein the light guide which transmits an optical signal to control a thyristor element inside a multistage-stacked module is formed in such a way that it is housed, together with an insulating gas, inside a corrugated insulation tube made of a polymer material. CONSTITUTION:A light guide 6 which transmits an optical signal used to control a thyristor element inside a multistage-stacked module 4 is formed in such a way that it is housed, together with an insulating gas (e.g. SF6 gas), inside an insulation tube 12 which is provided with a corrugation 11 formed of a polymer material. Consequently, the creeping insulation strength of a light guide device is enhanced, and the height of the light guide device can be reduced. Thereby, the height of a thyristor bulb can be reduced, and the thyristor bulb can meet a high voltage and a high capacity needs. |
