RADIO TELEPHONE SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To continue communication by an original slot after battery is when the battery runs out during the communication in a mobile station and to prevent unnecessary occupation of the line from a base station to a switchboard while a user does not cope with it. CONSTITUTION:The control part 19 of a mobile equipment 2 is provided with a reloadable nonvolatile memory and communication-in-progress information on whether the communication is in progress or not and the information of a radio frequency during the communication are stored in the nonvolatile memory. When a power source is turned on, the mobile equipment 2 receives the synchronizing signals of the base station by the frequency of the radio frequency information when the communication-in-progress information indicates the communication is in progress and restarts the communication by the original communication slot used before the power source is turned off. In the meantime, the base station continues to transmit the synchronizing signals for a time period longer than the time enough to replace the battery in the mobile equipment.
