Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To simulate strength of a weldline from an external appearance point of view to be generated at the time of injection molding. CONSTITUTION:A molding cavity is divided into a plurality of elements, the element sharing a weldline is obtained through a flow analysis, the total of an angle of a flow vector of one weld element and an angle of a flow vector of the other weld element adjoining to the one weld element is obtained and its maximum value is taken as a meeting angle of the one weld element. In an estimating method, the meeting angles relating to the whole weldlines are calculated and strength of the weldline is decided by comparing the obtained respective meeting angles with each other. Since the strength of the weldline can be estimated without performing molding actually, man-hours to be required for manufacturing or adjustment of a mold can be reduced.
