Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To enable easily regenerate this filter medium formed by laminating plate materials of porous carbon fiber-reinforced carbon materials and to enable the repetitive use of the filter medium by washing the filter medium in an acidic liquid or exposing the filter medium to a high-temp. atmosphere and separating zinc and impurities therefrom. CONSTITUTION:The used filter medium is washed by using the acidic washing liquid and is regenerated by dissolving the zinc, impurities, etc. The filter medium is otherwise regenerated by exposing the medium to the high-temp. inert atmosphere and evaporating the zinc and the impurities. The filter medium is formed by laminating the plate materials of the porous carbon fiber reinforced carbon materials. Further, the laminated layers of the filter medium are peeled by one sheet each to expand the regeneration treatment from the inside of the filter medium and the regeneration treatment area thereof.
