CEMENT-BASED SOLIDIFYING MATERIAL AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To obtain a cement-based solidifying material free from dispersion of characteristics, exhibiting uniform solidifying treatment function and not using quick lime as a raw material by adding a specific amount of gypsum to cement clinker containing free lime. CONSTITUTION:Gypsum is added to a cement clinker containing 2-10wt.% of free gypsum so as to become 4-20wt.% as SO3 and these components are mixed and ground or the gypsum is added to the clinker in the subsequent process to provide the objective solidifying material. In a cement-based solidifying material, cement clinker crushed material constituting the solidifying material contains 2-10wt.% of free lime in a cement-based solidifying material for subjecting soft soil to solidifying treatment. This cement-based solidifying material enables reduction of production cost, because a mixing process of quick lime is made unnecessary as the producing method. Further, firing energy can be reduced, compared with a conventional method for producing the solidifying material.
