Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a method for manufacturing a foamable sealing material in which adhesive properties and sealability with an upper cover, etc., can be improved by forming a film on an outer surface at the time of foaming foamable resin liquid and which can be efficiently molded without step at a seamed part of sealing materials or protrusion, etc., on an outer periphery. CONSTITUTION:Foamable resin liquid W is circumferentially uniformly discharged from a nozzle 4 of a vessel in which the liquid is sealed to a groove 3 (which may not be provided) on a lower mold (work) 1. After a discharging operation of the liquid W is finished, an upper mold 5 is engaged with the mold 1 until (period) foaming of the liquid W is finished, and the liquid W is foamed. After the foaming of the liquid W is finished, the mold 5 is removed. Then, a film is formed on a surface, which is pressed by a plate, thereby completing a stripelike foamable sealing material along the mold 5.
