PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of wrinkles on a recording paper and distortion in a transferred image, even if images are formed on both surfaces. CONSTITUTION:A pair of rollers 11a and 11b as rotary members rotatably press-contacting with each other are provided on a carrying path 8 between a switchback roller 6 and the paper refeeding port 7 of a printer main body 1, the recording paper P whose one surface has the transfer of the image and which is switched back by the switchback roller 6, when the images are formed on both surfaces is once abutted on a pair of the rollers 11a and 11b in a stopped state, to set the leading edge, so that when skew causing the wrinkles exists, the skew is remedied and the recording paper P is fed to the refeeding port 7 by the rotations of the rollers 11a and 11b.
