Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a bow for Japanese archery wherein the material thereof can be easily supplied and the power thereof can be not reduced. CONSTITUTION:A bow is composed of a slender plate-shaped core member 1, an outer bamboo 2 to be joined with one side of the core member 1, and an inner bamboo 3 to be joined with the other side of the core member 1, i.e., on the side of a bowstring. Furthermore, the core member 1 is composed of a core part 4 in which five bamboo members are stacked perpendicularly to the surface of the bow, and side members 5, 6 which are separately connected with both sides of the central part, and in each of which three bamboo members are stacked in parallel with the surface of the bow.
