FRONT SEAT AIR BAG DOOR STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To relax a deviation of stress in a connection part of an air bag cover opening restricting means, generated when completed seat air bag door structure. CONSTITUTION:An air bag door side end part 20A of a strap 20 is connected to an air bag door 18, and a car body side engaging part 22 is formed in the other end part of the strap 20. The car body side engaging part 22 is engaged with a supporting shaft 24 vertically provided in an air bag device 12, and in the car body side engaging part 22, its strap lengthwise direction end part 20B is folded back about the supporting shaft 24 in a direction toward a side of the center of rotation from a side of unfolding the air bag door 18. A location 22A brought into contact with the supporting shaft 24 of the car body side engaging part 22 is double folded in a strap width direction central part, and the end part 20B is inverted and joined by stitching in a condition that a reverse surface 20C is bonded to a surface 20D in the intermediate part of the strap 20.
