STRESS CONE MOUNTING IMPLEMENT

PURPOSE:To facilitate mounting by mounting a hook and a wire at a pressing member having a conical recess in close contact with the tapered part of a stress cone to be mounted at the insulator of a cable and the through cable of the cable at its center, and towing the member by a winch, etc. CONSTITUTION:A recess conical part 11 in close contact with the tapered part 7D of a stress cone 7 is formed, and covered on its surface with soft plastic. The through hole 13 of the insulator 5 of a cable 1 is provided at the center of the part 11. Further, an annular pressing part 14 is integrally provided with the periphery of the hole 13, and three hooks 15 are mounted at an axial symmetry at equal intervals. After the part 11 is brought into contact with the part 7D of the cone 7, a wire 16 is engaged with the hook 15 of the part 14, and the part 14 is towed by a winch, etc., in the direction of an arrow 10. Thus, the damage of the cone is prevented to easily and effectively mount the cone.
