Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To attain high accuracy and high reliability by guiding reflected light beams at first to third color resolving filters to first to third image forming elements and arranging the group of color resolving filters in pararell with the row of photodetectors. CONSTITUTION:Incident light from a face which orthgonally crosses the first main face of a translucent substrate is given first color resolution by a first multilayer interference film so that only light in a prescribed wave length area is reflected and the other light is transmitted. As the multilayer interference film 11 is formed in the direction at 45 angular degrees to an optical axis, incident light is irradiated and image-forms at a first photodetector row 15 formed on a monolithic 3 line image sensor 14. The transmitted light is given second color-resolution by a second multilayer interference film 12 and light in the prescribed wave length area is reflected and image-formed on a second photodetector row 16. Similarly, light transmitted through the film 12 is image- formed by a third multilayer interference film 13 and reflected light is image- formed on a third photodetector row 17. The photodetector rows 15 to 17 respectively output respective blue, green and red color components.
