Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide a sleeper to which an elastic mat is bonded so that quarried stones can not be crushed easily into small pieces and lateral slippage of sleeper can be avoided, and further productivity of elastic mat having durability can be improved. CONSTITUTION:The central portion 1a of an elastic mat 1 is made thinner than the opposite end portions 1b, and the central portion 1a is made from an elastic material softer than those of the opposite end portions 1b. And by the elastic mat 1 is vulcanized and simultaneously the central portion of the elastic mat is bonded to the thick opposite end portions by vulcanization.
