Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To provide an aircraft wheel which is little in earthing wear at the time of landing and long in tire life. CONSTITUTION:Three sheets of blades 14 are severally fixed with a bolt 14a at the position of each top of a regular triangle having the center hole 11d of the wheel 11 as its center. The blade 14 is formed in such a shape as, to wind pressure in a direction opposite to the flight direction shown by the arrow D of an aircraft, the blade 14 avoids the wind pressure when it is located at a position in the upper half of the wheel, and receives the wind pressure when it is located at a position in the lower half of the wheel. When the aircraft enters a landing posture, and the wheel supported by a leg 13 are drawn out of a wheel receiver, since the wind pressure acting on the blade 14 being in the lower half of the wheel is stronger than the wind pressure acting on the blade 14 being in the upper half of the wheel, counterclockwise torque shown by the arrow E acts on the wheel to rotate the wheel in the same direction as that of rotation during landing run. Thus the earthing wear of a tire at the time of landing can be reduced. |
