PRINTER BUFFER

PURPOSE:To perform an effective printing job by discriminating easily the reception of pint data from any one of transmitter terminals. CONSTITUTION:When the print data are not received yet, 'd ' is shown on a display 18 of a receiver terminal 3. Meanwhile 'dC' is shown when the print data are received from a personal computer that is directly connected to the terminal 3. When the print data are received from the personal computers 12a (or 12b) connected to a transmitter terminal 2, 'd01' is shown. Furthermore 'd01C' is shown when the print data are simultaneously received from computers 12a, 12b and 12c which is directly connected. In such a way, the display 18 of the receive terminal 3 shows the number of the terminal 2 by the medium two digits for the received data and then shows the reception of print data from the computer 12c by the lowest digit. Thus it is possible to discriminate the reception of print data from the specific one of plural terminals 2 if exist.
