Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To use a flange main body for general purposes by using a low cost collar. CONSTITUTION:A holding device for a ring grinding wheel is provided with a flange main body 22, which is coaxially fixed in the point of a rotary spindle 21 in a device cutting or grooving an object to be machined, and a collar 24, which is installed in the flange main body 22 so as to be fixed on a flange face 22a and is machined so that one face on opposite side of the flange face 22a side is vertical to the axial line of the rotary spindle 21. The holding device for a ringed grinding wheel 26 is formed of the ringed grinding wheel 26 mounted in the flange main body 22 and brought into contact with the one face on the opposite side of the flange face 22a, a pressing member 27 mounted in the flange main body 22 and brought into contact with the ringed wheel 26, and a nut 28 fastening the pressing member 27 onto the collar 24 side.
