Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To convert granular waste discharged from various genesis sources into porous carbide useful for other use. CONSTITUTION:Wood flour, a binder and necessary water are added to granular waste or its aqueous slurry and granulating treatment is performed for the mixture. The granulated material is dried and thereafter burnt and carbonized in the temperature range of >=400 deg.C under an inert atmosphere. A treating device is constituted by connecting the supply routes from a water supply source 3 and a binder solution tank 4 and sequentially equipping a granulating device 1 for wet- granulating granular waste 9 and wood flour 10, a conveyor 14 for transferring granulated material and a heat-treating furnace 2 having a heating rotary drum structure for drying and carbonizing the granulated material.
