CONSTITUTION:This sewing machine forming chain seams is provided with a post-cutter 16 cutting an open chain C2 behind a presser foot 11, and an open chain guide hole 21 is vertically bored in front of the presser foot 11. A groove is formed below the presser foot 11 from a needle location hole toward the open chain guide hole 21 along the sewing line L, an open chain suction tube 23 is provided above the open chain guide hole 21, and the tip of the sucked open chain C2 is held in the open chain suction tube 23.
