Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To solve the defects of uncomfortableness to drive due to the generation of the shaking of a car, the generation of friction between a rope and a rope gripper and the shortening of useful life due to the damage to the rope though these defects are generated because the rope gripper grips the rope when the car is accelerated without being able to accurately measure the speed of the rope and releases the rope when the car is decelerated. CONSTITUTION:A rope-car speed tuning controller minimally has a ground primary type linear motor driving a suspension type car 23, a speed controller controlling the speed of the ground primary type linear motor, a proximity switch 25 detecting the position and speed of the suspension type car 23 and a speed detector detecting the speed of a rope in the vicinity of a station. An output from the speed detector is obtained, the speed of the rope is used as the speed control command of the car, and the speed of the rope at the time of the release of the rope in car stoppage and at the time of the gripping of the rope in car start and car speed are equalized.
