ROLL PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL AND METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PACKAGING THE SAME

PURPOSE:To provide a simple and sure light-shading and moisture-proof package of a long size roll photosensitive material such as a color photographic paper without using a magazine and a cassette, furthermore, to provide a method and a device for performing the light-shading and moisture-proof package. CONSTITUTION:On both side surfaces of a scroll 1 in which a long photosensitive material 3 is wound on a winding core, a light shading leader 5 is joined to the winding finish end part, and a seal for stopping the material 3 from being unwound is provided on the other end of the leader 5, the external peripheral part of an end part light shading cover 11 is cylindrically folded back along the external peripheral surface of the scroll 1 in a state where the circular end part light shading cover 11 having a larger outside diameter than that of the scroll 1 is concentrically aligned to the scroll 1 as a sealing material; at least the folded surface is made to adhere for sealing to a light shading leader surface on the external periphery of the scroll 1, and the non-folded surface of the cover 11 is made to adhere to the winding core end face.
