GAS FILLING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent the occurence of a twist in a flexible gas filling pipe at the time of connecting a bomb connector to a gas bomb opened in random direction by pivoting a gas filling pipe of a gas filling tool on a gas supply pipe through a swivel joint. CONSTITUTION:A gas filling device is so constructed that a gas filling tool 2 is hung down from a header member where a gas supply pipe L is connected to the upper side thereof. In this case, the gas filling tool 2 is installed on the header member 1 through a swivel joint 5 in such a manner as to freely turn on the shaft center, and the gas filling tool comprises a flexible gas filling pipe and a bomb connector 4 fixed to the forward end of the pipe. The swivel joint 5 is so constructed that a movable member 9 is clamped between a fixed member 6 to the header member 1 and a cover member 7 screw-engaged with the member through a thrust bearing 8. On the other hand, a connecting wire 15 is disposed along the gas filling pipe between the bomb connector 4 and the movable side member 9 and stopped at suitable spaces.
