CROSS TIE FOR RAILROAD LINE EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for a sleeper panel by disposing latch fasteners to a trough-shaped or box-shaped sleeper section member while disposing a connecting rod, a tongue monitor or the like in the lower zone of the section member. CONSTITUTION: A trough-shaped or a steel box-like sleeper section member 5 with a basic rail fastener and point-tongue slide chairs 30 is supported by an external-surface coating 20. Latch fasteners 33 are housed in the section member 5, latches 34 for the fasteners 33 are suspended rotatably around a horizontal shaft 36 to cam-rod bearings 37 coupled with a tongue rail 4, and a cam rod 35 is mounted so as to be guided by the cam-rod bearings 37 and fastener supporters 32. Shock-absorbing elements 38 are set up to the lower sections of the fasteners 33, one of the elements is retained rotatably to fixed bearings 39 on the bottom of the section member 5, and the other is retained rotatably to the bearings 40 of the cam-rod bearings 37. Heating rods 43, connecting rods 44, tongue rail monitors and turnout driving devices are fitted into the section member 5.
