Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To provide a method for producing the powder of a di-long-chain amine acid salt excellent in the color tone and the composition change inhibition, while an uniform neutralization degree is maintained in the series of production processes ranging from a neutralization process to a pulverization process. CONSTITUTION:A di-long-chain type tertiary amine compound is continuously neutralized with an acid (preferably hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid or glycolic acid) in a temperature range of the melting point-boiling point of the tertiary amine compound, preferably in a temperature range from a temperature higher 15 deg.C than the melting point to a temperature lower 20 deg.C than the boiling point, and subsequently the obtained neutralization product is continuously fed into a drier to obtain the powder of the di-long-chain type tertiary amine acid salt. When the solution of the acid in a solvent is used as the acid, the neutralization product obtained by the neutralization reaction is continuously fed into the drier for removing the solvent and simultaneously cooling the dried product to obtain the powder of the di-long-chain type tertiary amine acid salt.
