SHIP TYPE FLOATING STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To provide a ship type floating structure having a hull shape which can extremely lessen dipping and heaving in the case where it is set up under the condition of a longitudinal wave. CONSTITUTION:In a general ship type suspended structure, in the case of a longitudinally unsymmetrical hull, the compound of heaving and pitching is caused in a wave, but when the shape of a hull front half section If is formed into a thin type, and the shape of a hull rear half section la is formed into a fat type, and moreover the vertical prismatic coefficient of fineness of the hull front half section 1f is made smaller than that of the hull rear half section 1a, the offset of force based on the compound of the heaving and the pitching is remarkably caused, and the dripping and heaving of the hull is therefore reduced.
