BELT GRINDING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent the device from being made larger in size, and lengthen the life of the whole of a grinding belt by providing a hang and turn mechanism making the grinding belt longer in length, which is composed of paired differential pulleys and of paired pulleys. CONSTITUTION:Paired differential pulleys 14 and 15 having a vertical shaft for changing the direction of a grinding belt 2, is disposed while being faced to each other over a moving body 11 at the upper center section of the belt grinding device 1. A drive pulley 3 having a horizontal shaft and a driven pulley 4a which has a horizontal shaft parallel with the horizontal shaft of the drive pulley 3, and can be freely moved horizontally, are disposed while the aforesaid paired differential pulleys 14 and 15 are being held. In the direction perpendicularly intersected with a line connecting the aforesaid pulleys 3 and 4a, paired driven pulleys 45 and 4c which have a horizontal shaft perpendicularly intersected with the horizontal shaft of these two pulleys 3 and 4a, are disposed while being faced to each other, so that a continuous length grinding belt hang and turn mechanism is thereby formed.
