BATTEN SEAM ROOFING STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To eliminate a sense of incongruity and prevent generation of a crack of a roofing tile and invasion of rain water by constituting a batten seam out of a roofing tile of same quality. CONSTITUTION:This batten seam roofing construction is provided with a stiffener 6 fixed on a sheathing roof board 1, flat plate roofing tiles 4a on the eaves side roofed on the sheathing roof board 1 while sandwiching the stiffener 6, and flat plate roofing tiles 4b on the ridge side piled on the flat plate tiles 4a on the eaves side, the stiffener 6 is provided with metal fittings 5, and further a batten seam roofing tile 7 is provided on the stiffener 6. The metal fittings 5 is provided with fixed pieces fixed to the stiffener 6, vertical pieces extended from the fixed pieces and hanging down along the stiffener 6, and contact stopper pieces having fitting recessed parts inserted with the end parts on the eaves side of the flat plate tiles 4b on the ridge side at the lower ends of the vertical pieces on the opposite side of the fixed pieces based on the vertical pieces. The batten seam tile 7 is formed into a tub shape covering the stiffener 6 and opening downward, and grounding pieces 72 oppositely provided on both end of the tile 7 are grounded on the flat plate tiles 4 on both sides of the stiffener 6.
