Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To refine the high Al ferritic stainless steel containing rare earth metals, Y, alkaline earth metals, etc., at high component hitting rate. CONSTITUTION:When rare earth metals, Y, alkaline earth metals, etc., are contained in the total content of 0.010-0.2wt.% in the ferritic stainless steel containing 3-6wt.% Al, after alloying metals are added, the molten metal is agitated by gas bubbling, at the timing defined in the next equation in response to the target conetnt Xt. Here (t) is molten metal agitation continuing time (min), X0 is initial concentration (mol%) immediately after adding, X1 is concentration after time t, KC is apparent speed constant (min). t=log(X0/X1)/K...(1). By this method, the stainless steel which contains rare earth metals, Y, alkaline earth metals in good precision coinciding with the target value and is excellent in high temp. oxidation resistance is obtained.
