Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a thermal transfer receiving sheet used for the proofreading of printing or a design and adapted to use requiring appearance almost equal to that of plain paper. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal transfer receiving sheet consisting of a sheet like support and the receiving layer based on a dyeable polymer formed on one surface of the sheet like support, the receiving layer contains silica with an average particle size of 2-9mum and a specific surface area of below 250m /g and the gloossiness at 75 deg. of JIG Z8741 of the surface of the receiving layer is set to 30% or less.
